Heart Shaped Frames
To make a wonderful and unique gift on valentines day, you can make a heart shaped frame. You need the bottom and the top of a small heart shaped box, bright color paint, photo, cord, silk or fresh spring flowers and glue. Cut out the middle of the box top. You will need it as a frame. On the box bottom glue the photo you have chosen before and attach the top frame over. Decorate it with fresh flowers if you want or with silk ones, so your Valentine can keep the box for longer. On the back side glue a piece of cord for a hanger.

From Edgar Allen Poe
Valentine,
For her this rhyme is penned, whose luminous eyes,
Brightly expressive as the twins of Leda,
Shall find her own sweet name, that nestling lies
Upon the page, enwrapped from every reader.
Search narrowly the lines! they hold a treasure
Devine-a talisman-an amulet
That must be worn at heart. Search well the measure-
The words- the syllables! Do not forget
The trivialest point, or you may lose your labor
And yet there is in this no Gordian knot
Which one might not undo without a sabre,
If one could merely comprehend the plot.
Enwritten upon the leaf where now are peering
Eyes scintillating soul, there lie perdus
Three eloquent words oft uttered in the hearing
Of poets, by poets- as the name is a poet’s, too,
Its letters, although naturally lying
Like the knight Pinto-Mendez Ferdinando-
Still form a synonym for Truth - Cease trying!
You will not read the riddle, though you do the
best you can do.

My Valentine
This ones for the smiles, for the laughter, and for the tears.
This ones for the silly grins and for you keeping me here.
This ones for the late night calls and the impossible goodbyes,
This ones for the weak hello’s and the kisses under rainy skies.
