Candles on Valentines Day

Around the world Valentines Day is on of the most romantic days in the year. With the time it has become the world’s official day for lovers. To show your love and appreciation to your partner, you have to make efforts every day. But on this day make something new and more special than usually.

There are many different ways to celebrate the day of love. If you choose the traditional way, this means to go out for a dinner and then watch a romantic movie. But you should know that the restaurants and pubs will be overcrowded and waiting for hours to be seated, does not sound very romantic to me. So you might consider staying at home instead of battling the crowds. If this is your final choice, we will give you some ideas how to create more romantic atmosphere at your home. Using candles and flowers is inexpensive way, to set the mood at home for Valentines Day.

Every time when we are talking about romantic mood, the first thing that comes up are the candles. They add soft and romantic glow and everything looks much better in dim lightening. For safety reasons always keep the candles far away of flammable materials, and put them in suitable holders. Arrange many candles in your dining room if you  will have the dinner at home or place them in your bedroom.

When you set ha table for the dinner, spread some rose petals. On the two opposite sides of the table place tall, ivory candles. Also, very nice will look some floating candles in a beautiful crystal bowl.

You can try and something more different, not only single candles. Choose some matching candles and tie them with a wide ribbon. The effect of more candles burning in the same time is more dramatic and interesting.
