How to Make a Valentines Day Chocolate Basket?
Once again Valentines day is upon us and the usual question “What do I buy my love?” is burning us. But why do you have to buy something? You can make her feel much more special if you do her gift by yourself. She will feel as the luckiest woman if she knows that you have spent some time thinking what she might like most and have used your own hands doing it, instead if going to the nearest shop to buy the first bunch of flowers you have seen or the usual teddy bear.
Everybody loves chocolates. I am sure that your partner does too. So you can make a basket with chocolates. You can use a large chocolate heart, many boxes with different chocolates, one small plush cupid or red heart, optional some flowers, ribbons and cellophane to wrap it.
With white and pink ribbons wrap the basket’s handle. Start from one side and leave some of the ribbon to hang down on one side for decoration. If you want to use flowers too, now is the time to wire and tape them on the handler. You can use gerberas, as they last longer and have weak stems. Fill the basket with all different chocolates, the red heart. On the top you can place many rose flowers and in the middle can be the Valentines cars. Or also very nice will look if in the middle of the roses you place the heart shaped chocolate box.
To give more professional and finished look, cover the basket with clear cellophane. It will be easy to do this if you sit the basket into the middle on large square piece of cellophane. Then pull the four corners up to the top of the handle and tie them up with a bow in suitable color. And your Valentines Day chocolate basket is full with love and delicious chocolates which your wife for sure will share with you in special moments you will spend together.
