I Tried to Tell You
I tried to tell you I love you
but the words were hard to find.
I’m always thinking about you
you’re the only one on my mind.
Oh why do I act so shy forever hiding my face
I should learn to laugh and not to cry put yourself in my place.
There were times I tried to kiss you but something told me no.
You wanted me to hold you but I
kept letting you go.
I’m afraid that I am not the guy
you’ve searched for all these years.
I will kindly leave now don’t you cry
try to hold back your tears.
It’s been so long I haven’t seen you
for quite awhile
When I think of how we me met it only
brings back your smile.
I remember when I held you then and
told you we’d never part
I loved you then I love you now and
I’ll hold you in my heart.
A day with you
Has made me not care a clue
To see in your eyes
What matters me and you
To be with you
Is never to blue
Because a day with you is making a dream come true

The day you were born, the whole world was blessed
These thoughts in my mind to you I must confess
The time has come for me to express my true feelings
You are the center of my thoughts and the essence of my being
What you have brought me I never thought I could procure
The gift of comfort, with you I am secure
For you have lifted me up from a life filled with sorrow
And made me realize there is always a better tomorrow
It amazes me how someone can make me feel this way
I love you more and more with each passing day
You brighten my days and lift my spirits
I have felt this for so long and now want you to hear it
So you may know the place you hold in my heart
You are always with me even when we’re apart
I truly believe what we have is meant to be

You have waited another year for this day,
This romanctic day some people call gay.
You step out of bed look in the mirror,
As your love is getting clearer and clearer.
You go to the closet pick out your best things,
Today you hope you get a special love’s rings.
Put on a special scent the expensive stuff,
So that those guys around you are no longer tough.
As you walk out the door you look inside and smile,
Because today is the day you’ll be his for a while.
You finally arrive at school your place to be,
And your really sad at what you see.
Down the hall just a few lockers down,
Him kissing someone else makes you instantly frown.
But then you see he isn’t kissing her,
He is getting her off and this you know for sure.
The bell goes it’s almost time for class,
And as he walks by you think he will surely pass.
Instead he stops and gives you a smile and says “Hi”,
And you say it too and now you know he is the guy.
Class is done you get to your locker and there he is,
It’s almost like you have aced the pop quiz.
He says “you hungry.. could I take you out”,
You say yes and together you walk and as predicted your day ends without a pout.

The queen of hearts
She made some tarts
All on a summer’s day
The knave of hearts
He stole the tarts
And took them far away
The king of hearts
Called for the tarts
And told the knave no more
The knave of hearts
Brought back the tarts
And vowed he’d steal no more.
