Sad Valentines Day Poems
Valentines day
If all the world’s game , whatever happened to the rules?
To let all this happen, I must have been a fool.
My sweetheart’s down in memphis, my friends all over in L.A.,
and here I am ,stuck at home ,on this St Valentine’s Day.
I hold it true
I hold it true, whate’er befall;
I feel it, when I sorrow most;
‘Tis better to have loved and lost
Than never to have loved at all.
Alfred Tennyson
Valentine’s Dead
So this is the end.
I fell out of love,
Out of your embrace,
Into the arms of sorrow.
So this is Valentine’s Day,
Happy Valentine’s my dear.
I’m sorry it had to be this way,
That I’m the cause of your tears.
I know your sadness,
And I must confess,
That I once felt love and happiness,
But all I feel now is emptiness.
So I am alone
On this day of love,
Without a love to call my own,
Without a heart in my chest.

A Time
There was a time
When I thought you were for me.
I saw no flaws in my choice;
I guess I didn’t see.
You didn’t treat me nicely
Despite how I treated you.
I cared for you, I loved you
And that you even knew.
I kept telling myself
That you could change your ways.
But you proved me wrong
Every single day.

Goodbye is Not Forever
You said you’d always be there,
You said you’d never leave.
But now I sit here, alone and crying,
As I solomnly greive.
I shouldn’t of had to say goodbye,
I wasn’t ready in any way.
But then again,
I never prepared to see this day.
You couldn’t see a way out from the pain,
And decided to choose your own fate.
You took my heart down with you,
I lost more than my boyfriend,I lost my soulmate.
